Young residents of Tarok Kolache village in Arghandab
Summary
Young residents of Tarok Kolache village in Arghandab District enjoy an afternoon snack April 1, during a ribbon cutting ceremony for the village’s new mosque. The mosque is the first completed structure in a massive joint reconstruction effort by Tarok Kolache landowners and International Security Assistance Forces since the village, previously a Taliban stronghold, was destroyed Oct. 2010, in an effort to rid it of insurgents and large quantities of improvised explosive devices.
