Wooden Shabti of King Seti I (Acc. 13906)
Wooden shabti of King Seti I, with traces of an unidentified coating over the face and chest.
The face damaged, and front of the feet missing.
On the broken section of the feet, there is a paper label numbered '86' in black ink, in 19th century handwriting.
There are six lines of an incised hieroglyphic inscription. Each line starts at the centre of the back and reads right to left. It contains the shabti formula beginning 'Illuminate the Osiris Men-maat-re...'.

There are similar examples is the Petrie Museum, University College London, and Liverpool Museum.
