Weapons Company sergeant leads Marines in the fight
Summary
Sgt. Joshua Barber, a squad leader with Heavy Guns Anti-Armor Platoon, Weapons Company, attached to Company A, 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 2, works to detach a mine roller from a vehicle aboard Combat Outpost Cafferetta, July 5. Arriving to Afghanistan in March, Company A has been fighting vigorously while simultaneously working with civilians in neighboring villages to improve the city in every aspect, from security to the economy. Barber, 23, from Flushing, Mich., not only accomplishes the mission, but he leads many Marines in Company A when the fighting enemy shows it's face.
