Wall Pocket, late 17th century (CH 18383699)

Wall pocket with three pockets and highly ornamental shaped top. Two pockets of pale blue silk, one of faded rose, embroidered in symmetrical floral designs in silk and heavy gold thread and looped wire. At the top a small bird in an elaborate enframement. Bound with blue silk tape and lined with pale pink linen.
