U.S. Navy Reserve Petty Officer 2nd Class Juanda Arline,

U.S. Navy Reserve Petty Officer 2nd Class Juanda Arline, a communications technician for the Paktika Provincial Reconstruction Team, performs communications security maintenance on a radio in a mine resistant ambushed protected vehicle prior to an Oct. 6 mission. Arline, a native of Riverside, Calif., is part of a team of roughly 130 service members and interagency partners throughout Paktika Province whose mission is to help legitimize the government of Afghanistan through development, governance and agricultural initiatives. She is deployed from Naval Operations Support Center Moreno Valley Calif., where she is an operations support technician.
