CAPE WRATH, Scotland (Sept. 20, 2007) – The five-inch, 54-caliber MK 45 Mod 2 gun mount aboard guided-missile destroyer USS McFaul (DDG 74) is fired during training operations at the Cape Wrath Gunnery Range. McFaul is participating in Neptune Warrior, an exercise designed to improve interoperability between allied navies as well as prepare the participants for a role in a Coalition Joint Task Force during upcoming deployments.
