is part of Global Fleet Station’s (GFS) pilot deployment to the Caribbean Basin and Central America. The deployment includes a broad range of theater security cooperation activities with regional maritime services. It is designed to validate the GFS concept for the Navy, and supports U.S. Southern Command by enhancing cooperative partnerships with regional maritime services, and by improving the operational readiness of participating nations’ military forces.
