U.S. Marines attached to Marine Forces Southern Command participate in the closing ceremony for the Guatemala portion of Southern Partnership Station 2014 (SPS 14). The Marines are accompanied by U.S. Navy Sailors attached to Destroyer Squadron 40, and Guatemalan Brigada de Infanteria de Marinra (BIM), at the BIM base in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala, Aug. 22, 2014. The Marines and Sailors participated in SPS 14, a combined joint exercise focused on subject matter expert exchanges with partner nations and security forces as well as military to military engagements and community relations projects in Central America.
