U.S. Army UH-60M Black Hawk crew chief Sgt. Christopher M. Schwear prepared his aircraft for a flight with Olta Xhacka, Albanian Minister of Defense at the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs campus, Lawrenceville, N.J., April 17, 2019. In 2001, The Republic of Albania signed a bilateral affairs agreement with the U.S. Department of Defense and the state of New Jersey thus officially establishing the New Jersey-Albanian State Partnership Program. The National Guard State Partnership Program is a U.S. Department of Defense program managed by the National Guard that links U.S. States with partner countries around the world for the purpose of supporting the security cooperation objectives of the geographic Combatant Commanders.
