Lester Aldana, Kandahar Provincial Reconstruction Team security force infantryman, from Pawtucket, R.I., provides security during a dismounted patrol in sub-district 10 of Kandahar City Nov. 16. The Kandahar PRT SECFOR is from the Rhode Island National Guard 1st Platoon, Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 182nd Infantry Regiment. The PRT works with government officials at the district and provincial levels to build sustainable infrastructure capacity.
