US Army Soldiers assigned to 1ST Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (SFG) (left), and a Afghanistan National Army (ANA) Soldier, check to make sure a new recruits assigned to the 1ST Battalion of the ANA, has cleared his 7.62 mm AK-47 assault rifle, after participating in a live fire training exercise on the range in Kabul, Afghanistan. The training program conducted by US Army, 1ST Battalian, 3rd SFG, is designed establish the core of the new ANA that will foster a safe, secure and stable environment in Afghanistan and will help to prevent the re-emergence of terrorist forces
