US Air Force (USAF) AIRMAN First Class (A1C) Matt Delmonte, Aircraft Armament Systems Apprentice, 48th Equipment Maintenance Squadron (EMS), 48th Fighter Wing (FW), RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom (UK), prepares a USAF F-15C Eagle fighter aircraft from the 493rd Fighter Squadron (FS) for a new paint job. A new paint job will help keep the metals on the jet from being damaged by corrosive materials. The 48th EMS provides intermediate and organizational level maintenance for three fighter squadrons supporting 48th FW, US Air Forces in Europe (USAFE), US European Command and NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) commitments
