Erik Nilsson assist mock casualties of a simulated Improvised Explosive Device attack on an Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle during exercise Angel Thunder at Playas Research and Training Center, N.M., Oct. 17. Approximately 1,400 U.S. military, federal and state employees and coalition forces are participating in the 6th annual Angel Thunder Exercise, the world's largest military Combat Search and Rescue Exercise.
