U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Oct. 17, 2017) – Sailors deployed aboard USS Lewis B. Puller test capabilities of Small Vessel Operator Pier during a rigging exercise while underway Oct. 17, 2017. The introduction of USS Puller to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations enables Naval Amphibious Force, Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade to extend its expeditionary presence in support of U.S. Central Command’s missions.
