U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (April 21, 2018) The fleet replenishment oiler USNS Big Horn (T-AO 198) approaches the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) prior to a replenishment-at-sea, April 21, 2018. Iwo Jima, homeported in Mayport, Fla., is on a regularly scheduled deployment to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
