United States Army Spc. Andrew Evans, military police officer, 35th Military Police Detachment, Directorate of Evaluation and Standardization, Installation Management Command, Fort Gordon Ga., catches his breath after the mile and a half during the physical fitness test portion of the 3rd Annual Pfc. James Boyd, Jr. Top Cop competition, Fort Jackson, S.C. on June 4, 2012. This year the Army competitors were joined by both Air Force and civilian law enforcement professionals to compete for the coveted Top Cop awards.
