Summary
U. S. Navy Sailors assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5 retrieve their parachutes after landing in Guam after a high altitude-low opening jump, May 17, 2016. Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 5 (EODMU5) conducts counter IED operations, renders safe explosive hazards and disarms underwater explosives. EODMU-5 is assigned to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 75, the primary expeditionary task force responsible for the planning and execution of coastal riverine operations, explosive ordnance disposal, diving engineering and construction, and underwater construction in the U.S. 7th fleet area of responsibility.
