Two young girls watch U.S. service members walk down the street in front of their Sub-District 9 home June 13. The troops from the Kandahar Provincial Reconstruction Team were conducting an assessment of a 2.6 kilometer road constructed in this area in northern Kandahar City, Afghanistan. The PRT works with the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to improve security and infrastructure capacity in the province.
