Two soldiers with 2nd Infantry Battalion, 23rd Infantry

Two soldiers with 2nd Infantry Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 4th Striker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, hold their position against the 7th Brigade, Australian Defence Force, during a field combat training exercise at the Urban Operations Training Facility, Shoalwater Bay Training Area, during Talisman Sabre 2011. More than 1,000 U.S. and Australian troops came together at the UOTF to prectice urban warfare tactics and to build interoperability between the two countries. Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and soldiers with the 7th Brigade, Australian Defense Forces, teamed up to form the blue forces.
