Summary

Mediterranean Sea (Sep. 25, 2005) Two F/A-18C Hornets, assigned to the "Golden Warriors" of Strike Fighter Squadron Eight Seven (VFA-87), and an F-14D Tomcat, assigned to the "Blacklions" of Fighter Squadron Two One Three (VF-213), fly in a loose formation with their tailhooks down during a late evening mission over the Mediterranean Sea.
