Trousers, 18th–19th century (CH 18402719)

Coarse linen trousers, embroidered in panels down side of leg. Design is of stylized flower head, open, flat, worked in red cross stitch edged with pink, and at four points the glower heads in profile worked in gold thread. Panel outlined in green silk; panels separated by a band of drawn thread whipped over in white silk.
