Landing of additional French troops in Djibouti in 1935 during a period of international tension related to Italy's threat to invade Ethiopia. The bottom picture shows tirailleurs sénégalais (generic name for battalions made up of Senegalese and other West African natives) marching alongside the Palais du Gouvernement.
