Thomas Ward Custer in Civilian Clothing

LIBI_00019_00199; This item is an original sepia toned cabinet card (card-mounted photograph) of Thomas W. Custer in bust view and wearing civilian clothing. The oval-shaped photograph is 4 1/4 x 6 1/2" mounted and was produced circa 1870 by Gubelman of Jersey City, New Jersey. On the front, a handwritten notation reads, "Tom Custer." On the verso, a handwritten notation in blue ink reads, "Col. Custer U.S.A."
