Therapy dog retires after 7 years of service
Summary
Archie Dillon O'Connor, a therapy dog at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, is read his retirement citation March 7 during a ceremony in the rotunda of the hospital. Archie has spent seven years in the hospital’s facility dog program, which utilizes dogs to assist in the physical and occupational therapy of wounded service members.
