Jan de Bisschop was a Dutch Golden Age artist and art collector. He was known for his drawings and etchings and was particularly skilled at depicting architectural subjects. De Bisschop was also a collector of art and antiquities and amassed an important collection of drawings, prints and coins. His work can be found in various museum collections, including the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. He died in 1671 at the age of 43.
