Summary
Satire; two pilgrims on a path, one on the right groaning and pointing at his feet, mortified by the peas he has been told to put in them as penance, while the other laughs and shows him the inside of one of his shoes, explaining that he took the precaution of boiling the peas first; illustration to a song. 1796
