The equilibrium of the electric fluid is disturbed by thefriction of bodies against each other, and electricity is thensaid to be produced or excited. 8. Electricity is excited in the greatest quantity by the fric-tion of conductors and non-conductors against each other. 9. The same substance, excited by a different rubber, willalternately be electrified positively and negatively. 10.
