They grow onrocks on the Bahama Ijlands. /TE T Arbre croit jufquà une grojfeur confidéra-*~* ble, a une écorce douce, & eji dune couleurclaire. Ses feuilles font de la figure de celles duncitronnier. A légard de fes fruits, ils viennent troisou quatre enfemble des aijjelles des branches fur unpédicule qui na fas tout à fait un pouce de longueur:ils font à peu prés de la grojfeur dune prunelle fau-vage, mais de la figure dune figue, & couverts dunepeau mince ê? purpurine, contenant de petit esfemencesen poulpe de la même couleur, mais ils nont quun goûtdouqâtre es? infipide, Sf cependant les oifeaux &dautres bétes en font fort avides.
