The Metal X 3-D printer, the world’s first Atomic Diffusion Additive Manufacturing machine, provides 3rd Maintenance Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 35, 3rd Marine Logistics Group the ability to design and create intricate metal parts and tools for III Marine Expeditionary Force at a moment’s notice on Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 8, 2020.
