Summary
The mayor of Daegu City, Mayor Kwon, Young Jin, hosts the Command Team of the 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, Brig. Gen. Michel M. Russell, Sr. and Command Sgt. Maj. LaDerek Green, along with several other senior leaders and their Families at Daegu’s annual New Year’s Celebration Dec. 31, 2018 - Jan. 1, 2019 at the Daegu City Hall and Memorial Park in Daegu, Republic of Korea. The well-renowned Daegu Grand Bell was struck to ring in 2019 just after the clock made its final tick of 2018. The U.S. Forces Korea Good Neighbor Program has helped to facilitate the 19th ESC to partner in regular top-leader events and visits such as this one that are important to the command of the 19th ESC as the unit works to solidify its unwavering partnership to the city of Daegu and the ROK-U.S. Alliance.
