Mayport, Fla., (Apr. 03, 2003) The crew of the frigate USS Estocin (FFG 15) departs the ship for the last time during her decommissioning ceremony. Estocin is scheduled to be transferred to the government of Turkey. Cmdr. Scott Phillpott, Estocin's commanding officer, stated that he is enthusiastic about his ship's future, saying, The Turkish Navy is getting a fine warship.
