yes.—The eyes slionld be blue—that beau-tiful soft blue of a good turquoise, or the sky-blue of a perfect, clear day. Yellow eyes, how-ever, are permissible; but the j^ellow should bea clear, rich yellow. Greenish eyes are a seri-ous defect. Tlie eyes should be large, round,full, and soft in their appearance, and shouldbe of the same color. Eyes of a different colorare not allowable, though these we sometimesfind—one blue and the other yellow, or onegreen with the other of either color. Ears. — The ears are medium in size, narrowand round at the apex, and broad at the base,and are feathered on the inside. Form. — The White Cat has a long, narrowbody, with a long, slender, graceful neck. Ithas a shoulder well sloped, and legs of mediumlength, slender and dehcate, with small roundfeet. VARIETIES 63 Tail. — The tail sliould be long, thick at thebase, and tapering toward the end. It shouldbe carried low, almost trailing on the ground. Coat—Color and Quality.—The White SMfA
