The inliabitantscarry on a brifiv coafting trade, and areextenfively engaged in the fifheries.The townfliip contains 2,298 inhabit-ants, of whom ID are flaves. Western, a townfhip of MafTachu-fetts; iitnated in the fouth-weft cornerof Worcefter co. 18 iniks eaft by northof Springfield, 29 in the fame direiflioafrom Worcefter, and 73 fouth-weft byIbuth of Bofton.
