Ten enlisted U.S. service
members belonging to NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan, Regional Support
Command-North were awarded the German Schutzenschnur, Nov 16. To earn the award one must successfully fire the standard German service rifle,
pistol and machine gun. These select few are the first U.S. military
personnel to earn and receive this distinction at Camp Spann. Seven
earned the silver while there members were awarded the gold.
