The event was the first time a U.S. Navy team has competed against the Chinese military during a port visit to Hong Kong. Reagan Carrier Strike Group is currently on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of the global war on terrorism, as well as conducting Maritime Security Operations (MSO) in the region.
