YOKOSUKA, Japan - Petty Officer 1st Class Paul Lunsford, a machinery technician and acting Engineer of the Watch from Hickory, N.C., approves a Danger Tag for a air conditioner supply valve onboard the Coast Guard Cutter Rush in Yokosuka, Japan, Friday, Sept. 4, 2009. The tag out system is used by Coast Guard units to track and monitor machinery that is inoperable, in need of repair, or requires specific safety checklist to be completed prior to the equipments use.
