Two 25-foot response boat crews conduct a security patrol on the Thames River during a tactical coxswain training course in New London, Conn., Nov. 16, 2007.Tactical coxswain instructors from the Coast Guard Special Missions Training Center (SMTC) in Camp Lejeune, N.C., trained coxswain and boat crew members from Stations New Haven, Montauk, Eatons Neck, New London, the New York Fire Department and the New York and East Hampton Police Departments during a three day training period in direct support of submarine and ferry escort missions that are routinely conducted in the Long Island Sound area.U.S. Coast Guard photo by PA3 Annie R.
