On the rocks at Petrie Bight. While passing down the Brisbane River, the steamer failed to turn sharply enough at the Kangaroo Point bend and ran on to the rocky bank under Bowen Terrace, but was soon extricated from her difficulty by tugs and proceeded on her voyage.
