Staff Sgt. Charles Amerson, a section leader with the Wounded Warrior Battalion West-Detachment Hawaii and Tampa, Fla., native, familiarizes Staff Sgt. Every Tuesday and Thursday, service members with the detachment participate in activities such as archery, swimming, track, shooting and cycling as part of the Warrior Athletic Reconditioning Program. The purpose of WARP is to help service members find hobbies and help maintain mental and physical fitness as they go through treatment and recovery.
