Staff Sgt. Boone adjusts his breathing pattern during practice at the 2014 Warrior Trials

Staff Sgt. Brian Boone, Warrior Transition Unit, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, adjusts his breathing pattern and takes a deep breath during the 2014 U.S. Army Warriors Trials swimming practice at the Arvin cadet physical development center in West Point, N.Y. Boone is from San Antonio, Texas. The event is hosted by Warrior Transition Command and slated for June 15-19. The Army Warrior Trials include athletes from the Army, Marines and Air Force who will face off in archery, basketball, cycling, track and field, swimming, shooting, sitting volleyball and wheelchair basketball. Participants in the trials include athletes with spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, visual impairment, serious illnesses and amputations.
