Spotted Scorpionfish (Scorpaena grandicornis)
Summary
Spotted Scorpionfish have a large fleshy appendage above the eyes, three dark bars on tail and spines on the snout. They lie motionless camouflaged among seagrass, algae or rocks. Caution the spines are venomous and if punctured cause severe pain.
