Soldiers from 1st Platoon, Company B, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Task Force Duke, and Afghan National Security Forces exit a home in Khani Khel on July 1, after meeting with the village leaders on the security of the village. The 1st Platoon met with several elders of the village to check on the condition of the villagers and to learn about any insurgent activity in the area.
