Sinking of the italian ironclad Re d'Italia

In the naval battle near Lissa in the Adriatic Sea in 1866, won by the Austrian War Fleet, the Austrian ship "Erzherzog Ferdinand Max" rammed the Italian flagship "Re d'Italia", which sank immediately. A painting by Gustav Kappler shows this historic moment.
