Shawl, mid-19th century (CH 18459687-2)
Summary
Rectangular shawl with wide borders at each end and narrow borders on each side; made up of woven and cut pieces of fabric with a set-in black center or field. The primary border at each end contains five elaborately foliated cones. The ivory is silk throughout.
