Sgt. Naseem, a 22-year-old native of northern Afghanistan's Balkh province and member of 1st Battalion, 1st Afghan National Civil Order Police Brigade, helps direct security while on patrol with a U.S. Special Forces team assigned to Special Operations Task Force – South, Feb. 25, 2011 in Panjwai District, Kandahar province. Naseem was a three-year veteran of the Afghan National Army before beginning training with the ANCOP.
