Sgt. Miranda Lachey, a recruiter with Recruiting Sub-Station Greensboro, teaches poolees about Maj. Gen. Nathanael Greene, a Revolutionary War general who's the namesake for Greensboro, during a hike aboard Guilford Courthouse National Military Park in Greensboro, N.C., August 10, 2013. The Marines and poolees went on a three-mile hike through the park. They stopped at different memorials where the Marines taught the poolees about historic Marine Corps battles and witnessed the relief-in-place for the new staff noncommissioned officer in charge of RSS Greensboro.
