Sgt. Maj. Gary Little, the senior operations and training sergeant major for the U.S. Army Reserve, carries two kettlebells during the sprint-drag-carry event for a practice Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) at Fort Eustis, Virginia, Oct. 25, 2019, during the Army Reserve Senior Enlisted Council. The council is a three-day event hosted by Command Sgt. Maj. Ted Copeland, the U.S. Army Reserve's senior enlisted leader. During the workshop the enlisted leaders tackled various topics that affect Soldiers' readiness, training and professional development. They conducted a practice ACFT as they lead the effort to implement the new test over the next 12 months before it becomes the official fitness test of record across the U.S. Army.
