Summary
At the right of this tsuba is a tiger. To the right, under the hole for the utility knife, is a small patch of young bamboo. The body of the tiger wraps around the edge of the tsuba to the reverse, which shows the back view of the scene depicted on the front. Tigers are powerful animals that are often shown with bamboo.
