Summary

Several bands of alphabets and numerals separated by narrow geometric borders, a four-verse hymn entitled The Little Pilgrim, and the inscription:
Mr Charles E. Fowler
Mrs Minerva S. Fowler
Died 13, 1832
The memory of the just is blessed
Elizabeth Starr Fowler aged 9 years and 8 months
flanked by weeping willow trees and a tomb.

The hymn reads:
Little Pilgrim, young in years,
Hast thou not a hundred fears
Thus to enter life's new road
Never but with danger trod?
Paths arrayed in tempting bloom
Will entice thy steps to come;
But, though every fragrance sweet
Charm thy senses, shun the cheat.
Yes, kind friend, I know full well
Sin and sorrow in them dwell;
Never shall my steps be led
Where the virtuous should not tread.
I will choose me such a guide,
That I cannot step aside:
Lord, if thou wilt be my aid,
All those gay deceits shall fade.

An additional text appears at the bottom:
When soon or late they reach that coast
Oer life's rough ocean driv's
May they rejoice no wand'rer lost
A family in heaven
