ARABIAN GULF (May. 07, 2017) Sailors prepare an F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the "Blacklions" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 213 for take-off from the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77). The ship is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
